Mark is the owner/manager of Monta Flora Agriculture and represents the fifth generation in a continuously operating Australian broadacre farming family. Mark has substantial experience and combines his strong farm management expertise with international development evaluation & capacity building; primarily within the MSME sector. He has worked in the USA, China, Malaysia and Lao PDR and holds a Master of Agribusiness from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Applied Anthropology & Participatory Development from the Australian National University. Mark is the author of an industry sponsored publication titled 'Strategic Planning for Farm Businesses.'

Carel represents the seventh generation of a South African family dynasty based in Vryburg on the fringe of the Kalahari region. Carel is a 25% stakeholder in the core family business of beef cattle production with subsidiaries in the transport and property development sectors. He also owns a 10% share in a crocodile farm. Carel has a strong entrepreneurial flair enabling him to see opportunities which others might miss; coupled with an outstanding network which enables him to add considerable value to Monta Flora Agriculture. Carel has a keen interest in life coaching and is currently extending his expertise into the corporate life coaching sphere.

Mike is one of the most respected agricultural economists in southern Australia and the son of one of the country's prominent wheat breeders. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics with honours from the University of New England and a Master of Commerce. He is the Principal of Applied Economic Solutions Pty Ltd, an agricultural economics consultancy based in Adelaide which consults to farmers, corporate agribusiness and government agencies. He specialises in economic modelling, risk management and training and development. Mike is the author of several books and the creator of the excel based Plan to Profit (P2P) economic modelling software. He also sits on the board of Collaborative Farming Australia Pty Ltd. Mike brings a wealth of expertise to Monta Flora Agriculture.

Michael was raised on the family farm at Butler Tanks on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia before moving to Adelaide where he gained his Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Science with Honours in Plant Breeding at the University of Adelaide's Waite Agricultural Research Institute. He is a fully competent agronomist with an eye for detail and a strong grasp on the spectrum of agronomic issues facing growers. He has a flair for his work and it is not unusual to see him on his hands and knees scratching around in paddocks after dark on the weekend. Michael makes a solid contribution to the Monta Flora team.

Libby represents the fifth generation of Monta Flora's original farming family and is committed to the future prosperity of the farming business. She handles most of the office administration but is equally at home out in the paddock helping with everything from repairing fences to driving state of the art seeding equipment. She holds a Certificate IV in Business and is a great encourager to the whole Monta Flora team.
